Dacromet pan screws torx drive

Dacromet pan screws are pan machine screws with dacromet finished.

Dacromet is a sacrificial zinc flake water-based coating system developed and applied to components to provide corrosion resistance.
The advantages of using a Dacromet coating
• It is a non-electrolytic thin-layer, which can be self-lubricated or not
• It has a high corrosion resistance, with the following for each type:
DACROMET® 320/500 Grade ‘A’ 24g/m2
>240 hours without white rust
>600 hours without red rust
DACROMET® 320/500 Grade ‘B’ 36g/m2
>240 hours without white rust
>1000 hours without red rust
• It has the following controlled friction coefficients:
DACROMET® 320 + PLUS® or DACROLUB® topcoat µ from 0,06 to 0,18
DACROMET® 500 µ = 0,15 ± 0,03 (EN ISO 16047) without topcoat
• No hydrogen embrittlement will occur
• It exhibits excellent behaviour when assembling and multi-tightening (with lubricated topcoat)
• It has good resistance to mechanical damage (trial method D24 1312) and chemical attack (trial VDA 621-412)
• It is not affected by exposure to temperatures up to 300°C
• It is a paintable coating
• The electrical conductibility of Dacromet coatings meet most applications
• The application costs are competitive via dip spin, dip drain and hand spray
